Sagarmatha Inter Dojang Taekwondo Championships 2017, an annual event of the Dojang, was held in Brompton gymnasium on Saturday, 29 July 2017.
The competition with a total number of 80 contestants started at 10.30 am and successfully completed at 4.30 pm.
Maidstone Branch was awarded with the champion club trophy, and second and third positions were secured by Folkestone and Farnborough Branch respectively.
Based on individual performance during the fight, the following individuals were identified as the best fighter and the Best Fighter Trophy was presented accordingly:
- Female best fighter: Alisa Rai
- Male best fighter: William Rana
President of the Dojang, Master Rastra Rai, congratulated all participants and expressed his gratitude to all students, instructors, parents and well-wishers with special thanks to Deepak Gurung, Dhiraj Gurung, Shilaj Gurung and Ram Kumar Rai.
